Eric Wong
A HONGKONGER named Eric, is a writer and traveler, but simultaneously the clairvoyant in the city discovering its beauty people barely know. People may say I’m kind of peculiar, or sometimes “unnatural” – born in a competitive society and being indoctrinated to be a moneymaker then have a consummate life, yet still refused to get a stable job and good salaries – all because I vehemently believe there’re different lifestyles other than a working machine consuming life for other’s expectation.
What I expect is still on quest, but after those adventures as well as volunteer works done in some countries, I think it’s time to be back to the origin, my hometown. Using a new angle to re-observe the place before the new journey starts.
As a hike-lover, surf-lover and natural-lover, Hong Kong I can tell is not merely a drab, commercial-only city, but more vivid and flamboyant than you think. Stay tuned if you like outdoor stuff.
