Hello all, welcome to Hong Kong! Have you eaten yet? (That’s a common greeting for people in Hong Kong.)
My name is Shirley, I was born and breed in Hong Kong, 100% made in Hong Kong. I was graduated here 2 years ago and then went to London for work.
When I was in Europe, a lot of people asked me, “What is Hong Kong?” or “Are there many skyscrapers in Hong Kong?”. Truth is Hong Kong indeed is a very small city with a lot of tall buildings and famous tourists’ attractions, such as Big Buddha, Ladies’ market or the Victoria Peak. However, Hong Kong actually has got so much more than these. Which is why I wanted to do this job, I wanted to share what Hong Kong REALLY is to me with people around the world, also what kind of society that made me love and hate at the same time.
Honestly, instead of calling this as a tour, I prefer to call it a story sharing; instead of calling me as a guide, I prefer to say I’m a friend of you for coming 3 hours. I am not going to take you to different attractions, simply tell you the history behind and then take photos, instead I will be sharing different stories of myself, my family and also what made “my home” very special. During the tour, I hope you can learn about Hong Kong from a local’s perspective and gain a different insight of Hong Kong. Again, welcome to my home and I looking forward to seeing you!

Where is your favorite spot in Hong Kong and why? East Tsim Sha Tsui, as there are so many nice bars and restaurants near the harbour that you can have some quality times with friends
Where have you traveled to? Can’t really list out all the places that I’ve been to, but for these places I do want to go back again: Budapest, Koln, Liverpool, Prague. Don’t ask me why, I just love them and can’t wait to go back again
"A unique type of tour"Reviewed 27 October 2019
Definitely go for it, you won’t find this type of tour anywhere else in HK, as it will take you deep inside the intricate history of the city, giving you the chance to get real knowledge. I did my tour with Shirley and Michael and was really able to get knowledge and listen to different perspectives. Shirley is elegantly polite (well reflecting the spirit of Hong Kong), sweet and informative. She shared her personal and family stories and this made it even more special to me. Micheal is fun, friendly and knowledgeable. They definitely made my day in Hong Kong, and will soon come back for more of their tours. Don’t miss it! See you soon!
