Hi, there! My name is Vanessa. I’m a master student and a freelance video-maker, photographer, and a passionate blogger who often travel around in this amazing Pearl of East to explore the world-class delicacy, local foods, and the amazing nature of Hong Kong. I have an educational background in law from Hong Kong and the United States. A hearty welcome for those who visit my profile!
I’m proud to be a Hong Kong local. I was born here, and it all began when my parents decided to move to Hong Kong decades ago from Indonesia. I’d call myself an adventurer, and what I really like to do in Hong Kong is to take my camera and to capture and explore the different shades of Hong Kong. In doing so, I’d often feel surprised and amazed, as you can find different landscapes, like mountains, beaches, and skyscrapers, as well as people leading different walks of life all in one place in this city.
I’m very lucky to have the chance to travel to different places in the world for an academic exchange during my university years. It gave me exposure to different cultures and to meet people with different backgrounds.
